About the Author/作者介绍： Heribert Boeder (1928-2013) studied philosophy, American studies and history at the University of Mainz before going to Freiburg, where he studied philosophy, classical philology and linguistics. 1954 he received his PhD and attained his habilitation in 1962. 1971 he became Professor of Philosophy at the Technical University in Braunschweig and from 1988 to 1996 at the University of Osnabrück.
