About the Author/作者介绍： Andy Mulligan在伦敦出生并长大。他当了十年的剧场导演。在亚洲的几次旅行促使他重新接受训练，成为老师。他在印度、巴西、菲律宾和英国教过英语和戏剧。目前居住在英国，全职从事写作。他的第一部作品《RIBBLESTROP》曾入围Roald Dahl幽默童书奖；《RETURN TO RIBBLESTROP》获得了《卫报》儿童小说奖。《垃圾男孩》入围卡耐基奖章，并已经出版了28种语言的版本。已于拍摄成电影。

Andy Mulligan was born and brought up in London. He worked as a theatre director for ten years before travels in Asia prompted him to retrain as a teacher. He has taught English and drama in India, Brazil, Vietnam, the Philippines and the UK. He now lives in England, and is writing full time. His first novel RIBBLESTROP was shortlisted for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize; his second, RETURN TO RIBBLESTROP, won the Guardian Children’s Fiction prize. TRASH was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal and has been published in twenty-eight languages. It will soon be a major motion picture.
