Richard Thomas is an award-winning writer whose work has appeared in more than one hundred publications. He is the author of the novel TRANSUBSTANTIATE and two short-story collections, HERNIATED ROOTS and STARING INTO THE ABYSS. Thomas lives with his family in the Chicago area. The next Windy City Dark Mystery, THE BREAKER, will be published in December 2015.
