About the Author/作者介绍： Michael Kerrigan is the author of Dark History of the Catholic Church, Dark History of Roman Emperors and Ancients in their Own Words, among other titles. He is a columnist, book reviewer and feature writer for publications including the Scotsman and the Times Literary Supplement. He lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.
