It won a Northern Writers Award in June 2014. Chloe graduated from an MA in Creative Writing at Newcastle University in Sept 2014 with distinction - the highest one they’ve given out for a final portfolio – and was awarded the Newcastle University Taught Masters Prize in Creative Writing. Her plays have been performed at the Traverse Theatre, Live Theatre, Northern Stage and the GIFT festival.

Fish Boy is Chloe Daykin’s first novel. It won a Northern Writers Award in June 2014. Chloe was awarded an AHRC studentship for the MA in Creative Writing at Newcastle.
