Awards/获奖情况：The book is filled with tons of great information to help you write a better screenplay. It’s broken into nine chapters each dedicated to a different subject. Joe Gilford has filled this book with lots of golden tidbits. At the end of each chapter there are exercises to help you practice what you have learned. He uses well-known movies as examples so that you can wrap your head around what he is teaching you. An awesome book on screenwriting. I truly enjoyed reading it and scored lots of professional tips in the meantime.

His upcoming feature screenplays, Kalimantan and Moonbounce, are currently in preparation. He has written documentaries for PBS’ award-winning American Experience. He is one of the most popular professors at NYU’s undergraduate film department since 1999. He teaches and lectures nationwide, including Montclair State University in New Jersey, Hollins University in Virginia and Columbia University.
