About the Author/作者介绍： 柴纳·米耶维（China Mieville），1972年生于英格兰诺里奇，先后就读于剑桥大学，伦敦政经学院，哈佛大学。最后于伦敦政经学院获国际法学博士，博士论文为《对等权利之间：国际法的马克思主义理论》。
1998年出版处女作《鼠王》。2000-2004年相继出版了巴斯-莱格三部曲。2007年《伪伦敦》。2009年《城与城》。2010年‘Kraken’。2011年‘Embassytown’。2012年‘Railsea’。
其中巴斯-莱格三部曲获多项科幻小说奖提名并获得了‘阿瑟·克拉克奖’、‘英国科幻小说奖’等。而《城与城》获得2010年的‘雨果奖’。
China Mieville lives and works in London. He is three-time winner of the prestigious Arthur C. Clarke Award (Perdido Street Station, Iron Council and The City & The City) and has also won the British Fantasy Award twice (Perdido Street Station and The Scar). The City & The City, an existential thriller, was published in 2009 to dazzling critical acclaim and drew comparison with the works of Kafka and Orwell (The Times) and Philip K. Dick (Guardian).
