About the Author/作者介绍： NICHOLAS SEARLE，在康沃尔郡长大，在Bath和Gottingen大学学习语言。2011年，他决定辞去多年的高级公务员一职，投身小说写作。《撒谎高手》是他的第一部小说。他现在居住在约克郡。

NICHOLAS SEARLE grew up in Cornwall and studied languages at the universities of Bath and Gottingen. He is not allowed to say more about his career than that he was a Senior Civil Servant for many years before deciding to leave in 2011 and begin writing fiction. The Good Liar is his first novel. He lives in Yorkshire.
