Ellen Tadd’s new book is one. It is beautifully written, succinct and provides both anecdotes and exercises that allow readers to directly experience her unique take on the chakra system. I have read books on the chakras, but never from cover to cover, and never with a sense that the information was tried, true and tested across multiple situations and with many different people. Ellen has worked with her material for years, and takes a scientific approach to her understanding of subtle energy, which is thorough and complex, yet easily digested. The information contained within this book has the capacity to transform lives, and gives us a new window on the imbalances in our own culture.

Ellen Tadd has taught, lectured, and counseled on actualizing spiritual potential in everyday life for more than thirty years. Shortly after completing her freshman year of college, she had the remarkable experience of being able to contact her deceased mother. That event healed her childhood trauma of denying her clairvoyant and clairaudient gifts and transformed her worldview. She soon began to have contact with guides from spiritual realms and discovered that she could serve as an intermediary between the material and spiritual worlds. Ellen has two grown children and lives in Massachusetts with her companion.
