About the Author/作者介绍： 俞敏洪，新东方创始人，现任新东方教育科技集团董事长兼首席执行官，北京大学企业家俱乐部理事长，中国企业家俱乐部理事，民盟中央常委、民盟中央教育委员会副主任，第十一、十二届全国政协委员。

北京大学西语系毕业，毕业后在北京大学外语系任教。1993年创办北京新东方学校，2001年成立北京新东方教育科技（集团）有限公司。2006年9月7日，新东方在美国纽约证券交易所成功上市，成为中国第一家在美国上市的教育培训机构。

Yu Minhong is the founder of New Oriental and now acts as the chairman of board and CEO of New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. He is also the chairman of the Entrepreneur Club of Peking University, executive director-general of China Entrepreneur Club, member of the central committee of China Democratic League, vice chairman of the Committee of Education of the Central Committee of China Democratic League and the member of 11th and 12th CPPCC. After graduating from the Department of Western Languages of Peking University, Yu Minhong served as an instructor of the Department of Foreign Languages of Peking University. In 1993, he founded the New Oriental English Training School in Beijing; in 2001, he founded New Oriental Education & Technology Group Inc. On September 7th, 2006, New Oriental went public in New York Stock Exchange in U.S., becoming the first Chinese educational institution that was listed in the U.S.
