Miriam has worked as a teacher for over twenty years, with a particular focus on students with special needs. Throughout her career, she has worked with a wide range of people, including the homeless, ex-offenders, refugees and asylum seekers. She also runs creative writing courses in London, mentors writers, and works as a freelance editor. Miriam lives in north London where she grew up, and used to visit Hayling Island every summer with her family.
