Dennis Meadows is professor emeritus of systems policy and social science research and former director of the Institute for Policy and Social Science Research at the University of New Hampshire. He has authored ten books, including The Systems Thinking Playbook and Limits to Growth, and in 2009 he received the prestigious Japan Prize for his contributions to world peace and sustainable development.
