English Summary/英文概要： This book studies on the RMB exchange rate regime in-depth, including the arrangements, level, policy and management, and the corresponding recommendations will be given. The book focus on the following five issues: (1) the economic factors selection of impacting exchange rate regimes; (2) international experience: the exchange rate system reform and capital account opening sequence, financial development; (3) the evolution and evaluation of the RMB exchange rate regime; (4) Construction of the RMB exchange rate basket index; (5) exchange rate policy and management: Construction of RMB exchange rate target zone of the important issues. According to China’s current domestic and international environment, and based on the comprehensive comparison of various exchange rate arrangements, this book puts forward a "flexible exchange rate target zone system", which is double, scalable and movable exchange rate target zone, is a better choice at the present stage.

About the Author/作者介绍： 成思危，中国科学院虚拟经济与数据科学研究中心主任，中科院大学管理学院院长。第九届、第十届全国人大常委会副委员长，华东理工大学名誉校长，中国软科学研究会理事长，致力于将复杂科学、虚拟经济、风险投资与发展社会主义市场经济的实践相结合，著有《中国经济改革与发展研究》（三卷）、《美国金融危机的分析与启示》等多部学术著作。
Professor Cheng Siwei was the Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the People’s Republic of China. He graduated from East China Institute of Chemical Engineering and later earned his MBA from UCLA. He is the Chairman of International Finance Forum and International CEO roundtable. He served as the external advisor of World Bank Institute. Professor Cheng is a distinguished scholar in economic, financial and managerial fields as well as in chemical industry. He initiated the school of fictitious economy and his work has extensive influence on academia and China’s economic and financial circles.
