Neil Wilson, formerly Athletics and Olympics correspondent of The Daily Mail and The Independent, covered 10 Olympic Games. In 1985, he was named Sportswriter of the Year at the Press Awards. He wrote Great British Olympians for Carlton Books in the run up to the 2012 London Games.Written with the full co-operation of the official Olympic Museum in Lausanne, a foundation of the International Olympic Committee. The IOC (International Olympic Committee) is the governing body for the Olympic Games and the Olympic Movement. It oversees the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
