About the Author/作者介绍： Alex Howard，27岁，住在爱丁堡。他于2010年毕业于爱丁堡大学，获得英文学位，发表了多部诗歌作品。他曾荣获红十字国际写作奖，进入2012苏格兰大满贯冠军赛的复赛，还曾在爱丁堡图书节上表演自己的作品。他创作的喜剧作品曾入选BBC，曾经担任过电视调查员、导游、家教等工作。目前正在爱丁堡大学攻读AHRC资助的博士学位。Alex Howard is 27 and lives in Edinburgh. He graduated from Edinburgh University with a 1st class English degree in 2010, and has since had poetry published widely in journals such as The London Magazine, Cadaverine, and Gutter. He is the winner of the Red Cross International Writing Prize, a quarter-finalist in the Scottish Slam Championships 2012, and has performed his work at the Edinburgh Book Festival. In addition, he has had comedy writing shortlisted by the BBC and worked variously as a television researcher, ghost tour guide, and tutor. He is currently pursuing an AHRC funded PhD at Edinburgh University.
