Years later, Heidi and Jason met and fell in love, their mutual loss and damage drawing them together.

About the Author/作者介绍： 黛博拉•奥康纳在剑桥大学纽纳姆学院学习英语专业，之后成为了一名电视制片人。她曾经制作过的节目有《妈妈病了》和《老大哥》，并获得了英国电影学院奖，现任CPL电影制作公司的发展部经理。她之后攻读了小说写作专业，不久后就完成了她的第一部短篇小说《归国》，这篇小说被收录于《东西选集》中，同时收录的还有石迪拉•德芙还有黛西•戈德温的作品。黛博拉出生于英国东北部，现和丈夫和三岁的女儿住在伦敦东部。
Deborah O’Connor read English at Newnham College, Cambridge before going on to become a television producer. Having worked on everything from The Big Breakfast to Big Brother she produced the BAFTA award-winning poetry documentary Off By Heart and is currently the head of factual development at TV production company, CPL. Under the tutelage of Louise Doughty she completed the novel-writing course at The Faber Academy and not long after her short story ‘The Homecoming’ was published in the 33 East/West anthology alongside writers such as Stella Duffy and Daisy Goodwin. Born and bred in the North-East of England, she now lives in East London with her husband and three-year-old daughter.
