About the Author/作者介绍： For more than fifteen years, John Simmons has been associated with the reference work Current Biography, and he has written frequently about Nobel laureates in science. He was writer and editor of the educational project for the 1988 PBS series The Mind and is also the author of four novels. He is a member of the New York Academy of Science, and is a graduate of Northwestern University and Long Island University. He divides his time between New York City and Pairs.
