In The Grid international management consultant Matt Watkinson argues that time and time again companies go wrong because their tendency to focus on specific issues within the business mean that they lose sight of the company as a whole. I could try to describe the grid here, but to be honest Matt does a much better job in the attached proposal and there is a neat visual element to it that is not best served by words!

You will be able to tell that Matt has also worked as a designer – the Grid’s excellent design helps get his ideas across in a way that manages to embrace complexity while remaining simple and accessible.

About the Author/作者介绍: Matt’s first book was The Ten Principles Behind Great Customer Experiences, which was the overall winner of the CMI’s Management Book of the Year 2014. He is a customer experience consultant who works with big brands the world over (he’s based between London and LA).

Matt is due to deliver the full manuscript towards the end of this summer. We will publish The Grid in March 2017, as a £16.99 hardcover on the Random House Business list.
