作者简介：Paul Martin曾就读过哥伦比亚大学，专业是自然科学，后获得了行为生物学的博士，接着他又上了加州的斯坦福大学，获得了精神病学和行为学学院的Harkness奖学金。他在哥伦比亚大学授课并担任研究工作，所从事的学科是行为生物学，还是沃尔森学院会员，后离开学术界开始撰写科学性文章。
