About the Author/作者介绍： 塔德格·本特利(Tadgh Bentley)是一位来自英国的绘本作家和插画家，现和妻儿爱犬定居俄亥俄州亚琛。

在英国和约旦从事了六年启蒙小学教育工作之后，他有一些时间追逐自己一个长期以来的梦想，制作自己所绘制的画书画插图。几个月后，经历了几次失败，妻子在吃饭时的打嗝，萌生了绘本“会打嗝的小企鹅”。Balzer + Bray于2015年秋季相继推出了‘小企鹅系列故事’。‘水虎鱼萨姆森’、‘小企鹅和棒棒糖’紧随其后，另一只小企鹅于2018年10月发行。

塔德格是一个自学成才的艺术家，在长期研磨PS的操作方法后，如今他的作品主要是以数字化为主。所有的图纸在用数字方式染色之前都要用钢笔和墨水绘制草图。虽然这有时会让他觉得自己像是个骗子，但他享受着这种技术提供的巨大的自由和创造机会。

Tadgh Bentley is a picture book author and illustrator originally from the UK, now living in the Hocking Hills of Ohio with his wife, Emily, and puppy, Atticus.
