Hunting wild honey from cliffs with Gurung tribesmen in Nepal, and in vast jungle trees with Veddah tribesmen in Sri Lanka, Piers draws close to the very origins of life. But honey is the real luminary of Honey and Dust and it is by witnessing nature’s astonishing healing powers that Piers finally finds his own sense of regeneration.

About the Author/作者介绍： 皮爾斯‧莫爾‧愛德(Piers Moore Ede)，先後畢業於溫徹斯特公學、埃克塞特大學和加州大學聖塔克魯茲分校。大學畢業後，他曾做過農場主、船夫、衝浪教練、詩歌教師和麵包師傅。他遊歷甚廣，曾經為《每日電訊》、《泰晤士報文學副刊》、《生態學家》、《旅行家》和《地球島嶼雜誌》等多家文學類、旅遊類和有關環境保護的出版物撰稿。
Piers Moore Ede has worked as a farmer, boat driver, surfing instructor, poetry teacher, and baker. He has travelled widely and contributed to many literary, travel and environmental publications including: the Telegraph, the Times Literary Supplement, Ecologist, Traveller and Earth Island Journal.
