Schwarz is also Music Director of the Eastern Music Festival and the Conductor Laureate of the Seattle Symphony. The award-winning conductor is a renowned interpreter of 19th-century repertoire, in addition to his noted work with American composers. MAXINE FROST (Seattle, WA) is a writer, broadcaster, and artist/illustrator with credits in Classical Guitar magazine and Hamburger Abendblatt. Her drawings of composers have been exhibited in Europe. She is currently working on a book about contemporary pianists.
