About the Author/作者介绍： 伊莉莎白•彼得斯（Elizabeth Peters）獲得芝加哥大學著名的東方學院埃及古物學博士學位。她在1986年安東尼文學獎（Anthony Awards）頒獎典禮上獲大師獎，之後又在1998年美國神秘故事作家獎（the Mystery Writers of America）上再度將大師獎收入囊中。2003年，她在粉絲自發每年舉辦的集會（Malice Domestic Convention）上獲授終身成就獎。她住在馬里蘭西部一處歷史古跡農舍。 Elizabeth Peters earned her Ph.D. in Egyptology from the University of Chicago’s famed Oriental Institute. She was named Grand Master at the inaugural Anthony Awards in 1986 and Grand Master by the Mystery Writers of America in 1998. In 2003, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Malice Domestic Convention. She lives in a historic farmhouse in western Maryland.
