Elizabeth Stokoe, is Professor of Social Interaction at Loughborough University and a scientist of
conversations, studying how and why we speak differently in different contexts. Her academic work is very widely published and cited and she co-authored Discourse and Identity (2006, Edinburgh University Press) and Conversation and Gender (2011, Cambridge University Press).
