馬克．弗雷利（Mark Frary）是一位屢獲殊榮的科普作家，他還在YouTube上主持Cryptophiles channel，著有9本著作。他畢業倫敦大學天文和物理學系並獲得一級榮譽學位的殊榮，在成為作家以前，他曾在倫敦大學的穆勒太空科學實驗室從事太空船的研究，在歐洲核子研究組織（CERN）參與大型強子對撞機的核物理研究，以及在瑞士日內瓦歐洲粒子物理實驗室進行核子物理研究。他也定期在《泰晤士報》、《每日電訊報》、《倫敦標準晚報》等媒體上發表文章。台灣已出版有他的著作：《奧妙的數學》（旗林文化出版）。
