About the Author/作者介绍： 美国作家，于1950年凭小说《金臂人》（THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN ARM），夺得第一届美国国家图书奖（小说类），后这部小说被改编成电影，由Frank Sinatra主演。Algren和作家James T. His novels include The Man with the Golden Arm, winner of the first National Book Award, A Walk on the Wild Side, and Never Come Morning.
