About the Author/作者介绍： 伦妮·布朗（Renni Browne），美国文学出版界长青树，从事编辑工作超过五十年。她在二十出头就踏入出版界，凭借对文字的敏感度，迅速成为著名文学出版社 William Morrow 的资深编辑。在1980年创办了全美第一家全方位的编辑顾问公司「编辑部」（The Editorial Department），多部畅销作品曾得力于伦妮的修稿服务，如长踞《纽约时报》畅销金榜的雪薇·史蒂文斯《失踪之后》。
