English Summary/英文概要： NYE IS A LITTLE GIRL who has lived on an island that has forever been pummelled with stones from the neighbouring island. Generation after generation have dealt with the fl attening of their prized sandcastles because, as it is explained to Nye, “that’s just the way it is.” The story follows Nye over a series of years, as her anger grows with the injustice and the inability of anyone to put an end to what she believes to be a wholly unfair act. When she can no longer sit idle and abide the power structure her people enable, she resists the status quo and decides to put an end to this custom.

About the Author/作者介绍： BREE GALBRAITH畢業於加拿大艾蜜莉卡藝術及設計大學，她的前一本繪本作品Once Upon a Balloon獲得許多媒體讚譽，包括：學校圖書館期刊、柯克斯書評、Quill & Quire等等。

BREE GALBRAITH is a University of British Columbia Master of Creative Writing graduate and author of the award-winning titles Once Upon a Balloon and Milo and Georgie. She lives in Vancouver.
MARION ARBONA was born in France. After obtaining her diploma in animation at the école nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, she moved to Quebec.
