About the Author/作者介绍： AUTHOR AND ILLUSTRATOR: Dr Chana Gabay was born in Jerusalem, and has spent time living in London, UK, and in the USA. As a child she was interested in the medical sciences, and while in high school, joined a research group at the Weizmann Institute which continued on to the Volcani Institute. She went on to earn a BSc in Biotechnology at Ben Gurion University, and an MSc in Biotechnology from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She has a PhD in Medical Sciences and continues her work in the field of cancer research as well as in organisms such as algae, bacteria, fungi, plant cells, drosophila, mice cell lines, and human lymphomas. Dr Gabay is a well-known translator of medical scientific documents and books. This is her first book for children, for which she has written both the text and produced these captivating illustrations.
