小男孩覺得很煩惱，他想告訴媽媽，但是媽媽正在忙著用筆電工作，她已經夠煩惱了，怎麼能用甜點裡的大象去煩媽媽呢？ 於是，小男孩轉向叔叔，但是叔叔正在講手機，如果打斷他，他一定會很生氣， 於是，小男孩看向姊姊，姊姊正在邊聽耳機邊寫功課，如果害她不能專心，她一定會覺得又煩又氣！

大象在小男孩的乳酪裡游泳、溜冰、踢足球、甚至吹起長號，小男孩又煩惱又沮喪，但是沒有任何人注意到，他該怎麼辦呢？

孩子有時候很難對大人述說他們的心事，這本可愛的繪本把「房間裡的大象」的比喻，轉化為具象的圖像，描述了孩子的煩惱、沮喪和心情，並讓和藹的奶奶引導孩子分享自己的煩惱，同時也讓大人深思，有時候我們是不是太過於專注在手頭上的事而忽略了照顧孩子的心情，也忽略了全家人可以一起共享的團聚時光。 (Zoe)
