While at the villa Tommaso also meets Maria, Beatrice’s sister, who appears to be the exact opposite of him. While Beatrice is sweet and angelic, Maria is cheeky and irreverent. Tommaso and Maria become involved in a violent, ambiguous and wholly unavoidable and passionate love affair…
