About the Author/作者介绍： Robert Dallek is the author of JFK, An Unfinished Life (Little Brown, 2003), which was a New York Times number-one bestseller for six weeks. That book sold 200,000 copies in hardcover in the US and sold 200,000 copies in hardcover and trade paperback in the UK. Dallek was a winner of the Bancroft Prize for his book FDR and American Foreign Policy. He is a frequent commentator on CNN and PBS.

Terry Golway is a journalist and the author of Washington’s General, a biography of Nathanael Green (Henry Holt, 2005). His book The Irish in America (Hyperion, 1997) sold 60,000 copies. He has appeared on The History Channel and CNN, and is the city editor of The New York Observer. He also writes for The New York Times and American Heritage
