English Summary/英文概要： Annie loves her chair, she can curl up and read her books or watch TV, play with her toys or hide, be a fairy queen or bounce. No-one is allowed on Annie’s chair. Not mum, not dad, and definitely not her brother Jack.
One day Annie finds someone fast asleep in it; and he will not be moved! It’s Benny, the family’s pet dog. After a tug-of-war with the stubborn canine, Annie firmly decides that Benny is not allowed access to the chair, not without her!

About the Author/作者介绍： Deborah Niland has been illustrating children’s books since 1970 and has used a wide variety of styles and techniques. She has illustrated all of the Hazel Edwards’ Hippopotamus series and Annie’s Chair is her first written book. Although she loves illustrating and writing children’s books she also enjoys painting for exhibitions and has been doing more and more paintings in recent years, from her attic studio. Her three children also keep her busy. Their interests and activities keep her on the move and the time she can spend drawing or painting is much appreciated.
