She no longer knows who she is. She is sick. Such is the tragedy of a successful young girl. She feels special, ends up in one of the top schools, travels, and makes the most of her comfortable life. Still she vomits all day long. This is the hellish spiral of a “good student” who faces pressure from the family and trades her dreams for an image created by the people around her. She begins to suffocate, divorced from her true self, sinking further into an artificial world of lies and suffering. A slow, painful journey from sickness to health and an understanding that normality is a relative notion. This is also a genuine, highly personal and truly accomplished novel.
