About the Author/作者介绍： 阿黛麗•蓋拉絲（Adèle Geras）是久負盛名的作家，寫過很多故事和小說，包括《依莎卡》（Ithaka）、《面光》（Facing the Light）、《永遠幸福》（Happily Ever After）、《特洛伊》（Troy）。她1944年出生在耶路撒冷（Jerusalem），曾在羅丁中學（Roedean School）、布裏奇頓、聖希達爾學院（Brighton and St Hilda’s college, Oxford）學習。她從1976年起一直給孩子們和青年人寫書，已經出版了90多本刊物。她還寫了4本成人小說，由奧里昂書籍出版（Orion Books）。
