About the Author/作者介绍： Ernest Howard Shepard OBE, MC (10 December 1879 – 24 March 1976) was an English artist and book illustrator. He was known especially for his illustrations of anthropomorphic characters in The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame and Winnie-the-Pooh by A. A. Milne. Ernest H. Shepard 1879年出生于伦敦,1976年去世。Shepard在第一次世界大战后加入了"Punch"杂志社,且认识了小熊维尼故事的作家A.A.Milen.后来答应为Milen的一系列儿童书籍插画.其中包括广为人知的古典维尼,后来的30年Shepard一直为书本插画.1973年他第一次为原本只有黑白的古典维尼加上颜色.Shepard的原版图画都收藏于伦敦的维多亚和艾柏特博物馆(Victoria & Albert museum).
