About the Author/作者介绍： Mike Richards, PhD, is the author of The Hanged Man: the life and death of Ronald Ryan (Scribe, 2002) and is a political scientist and former political adviser to the state Labor premier of Victoria, John Cain. Most recently he was chief of staff to the Australian Labor leader, Simon Crean, and his successor, Mark Latham.
Douglas Kirsner, PhD, is a professor of psychoanalytic studies at Deakin University, Melbourne. His most recent book is Unfree Associations: inside psychoanalytic institutes. He has published and lectured widely internationally on the application of psychoanalysis to understanding political movements and psychoanalytic and social institutions and behaviour.
