About the Author/作者介绍： Lynda La Plante集作家、演員、編劇三種角色於一身，出生於利物浦，年輕時於皇家戲劇藝術學院受訓，曾服務於國家戲劇院與英國最著名的劇團皇家莎士比亞劇團；在成為電視明星前，曾轉向寫作，知名電視影集 WIDOWS便是從Lynda La Plante所提的大綱拍成，並獲得1982年英國電影學會(BAFTA)提名；而其所撰寫的知名電視影集【主嫌犯】（Prime Suspect）更是榮獲艾美獎與英國電影學會獎（BAFTA）之殊榮，並由獲得今年金球獎女主角海倫米蘭(Helen Mirren)所主演；其餘獎項尚有英國廣播獎項以及皇家電視協會作家獎項，其他劇本作品包括: CIVVIES, COMICS, SECONDS OUT, FRAMED and SHE’S OUT，於1994年成立電視製片公司。
