Here, however, the book gets the hardcover treatment, with a few illustrations added for color. LJ’s reviewer asserted that "the novel has warmth and feeling" (LJ 2/1/73) and a place in all fiction collections, especially those serving Chicano populations.---From Library Journal

About the Author/作者介绍： 魯道夫‧安納亞Rudolfo Anaya，新墨西哥大學英語文學系的榮譽退休教授，首位獲得Premio Quinto Sol國家墨西哥裔美國文學獎的得主，其著作當中除Alburquerque 獲PEN Center USA West Award文學獎外，另一重要暢銷著作為Bless Me, Ultima，更被視為西班牙裔美國文學的經點大作。
