如今的朝子優都已經是資歷15年的蘇格蘭導遊協會資深會員，她目前為來蘇格蘭旅遊的日本遊客提供專門導遊服務。她本身被大家公認為威士忌酒領域的權威，她甚至能影響一個普通的遊客，變成一個熟識威士忌酒的愛好者。在蘇格蘭工作17年，她放棄自己的日本國籍，加入了英國國籍，成為了一個真正的英國人。

available. The author is a Japanese woman who is an internationally
recognised authority on Scottish whisky. She was so smitten with the aura of
Scotch whisky as a teenager in Japan that she decided to move half away
around the world to be closer to its origin. She began working as a tour
guide and has been a member of the Scottish Tourist Guides Association for
fifteen years - she now specialises in doing tours of whisky distilleries
for Japanese tourists. There’s already a huge demand for this book from
