About the Author/作者介绍： 作者曾在越南從事反間諜活動，對戰場有著無法磨滅的記憶。在戰後，他以戰地記者的身份，獲得了底特律新聞自由獎。而後5年，他擔任底特律刑偵處檢察官，使他在刻劃員警人物形象時，有著得天獨厚的資本。卸任後，他進入《聖達戈聯盟報》和《洛杉磯每日新聞報》繼續從事新聞行業，使得他有多餘時間從事小說的創作。 Michael Graham is a former crime reporter and investigative journalist with almost 20 years of experience. He has worked for the Los Angeles Daily News, The San Diego Union-Tribune, and the Detroit Free Press, where he covered the case on which this novel is based. He is a former member of the team of journalists behind the groundbreaking book on the Medellin drug cartel, The Cocaine Wars, and has worked as a screenwriter. He lives in Malibu, California.
