About the Author/作者介绍： Colin Wells is the author of Sailing from Byzantium: How a Lost Empire Shaped the World and The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Understanding Saudi Arabia. He studied English, history, and classics at the University of California, Los Angeles and Oxford University before returning to the Adirondack region of northern New York State, where he grew up and where he now lives.
