About the Author/作者介绍： 布鲁斯•霍布森(Bruce Hobson)。出生于肯尼亚，童年时期就喜欢与动物为伴。后就读于伦敦大学，学习语言和外国文学。他初次尝试创作短篇故事和广播剧，就立即获得了成功，这让他决定成为一个伟大的非洲作家，所以，起了一个斯瓦西里语的笔名，“莫温伊•海蒂斯”，字面意思是“满腹故事的人”。他与艾德里安娜·肯纳韦合作的一系列作品，以非洲大草原上的动物为主角，幽默风趣，极富想象力。主要作品有《机智的乌龟》、《懒惰的狮子》、《贪吃的斑马》、《吵闹的长颈鹿》等。

Author: Bruce Hobson is the author of seven books in this series. He lives on a farm in South Africa.

Illustrator: Adrienne Kennaway moved from Kenya to London when she was 15 to study at the Ealing School of Art. Later she attended L’Academia de Belle Arte in Rome. It was on her return to Kenya that she began illustrating the picture books that have made her well known.
