The discovery of the corpse of a beggar with the same injuries and whose clothes smell as the perfume used by a prostitute, will involve the doctor in a conspiracy to dethrone the king. Inspired by historic events, this dazzling debut novel, extremely well documented, recreates Nasrid Granada in the late XIV century. The characters are perfectly well described in an agile narrative that allows the reader to enjoy the ins and outs of the investigation. The story is handled with care and suspense and the rhythm increases when we get close to the end.
