About the Author/作者介绍： Ben Okri is a Nigerian writer resident in London. He studied at the University of Essex. His other books include three novels, Flowers and Shadows, The Landscapes Within and The famished Road, winner of the 1991 Booker Prize, and a volume of stories, Incidents at the Shrine. His stories have been published in Firebird, New Statesman, Paris Review and PEN New Fiction. He was Poetry editor of the magazine West Africa and has worked as a broad-caster with the BBC. In 1984 he was awarded an arts council bursary and in 1987 was the winner of the Commonwealth Writer’s Prize for Africa and the Paris Review Aga Khan Prize for fiction.
