GODS OF WAR
Book ID/图书代码: 02330007B18435
English Summary/英文概要: In this epic novel, a popular and respected historian depicts the events of the Pacific theater of World War II from the point of view of both Americans and Japanese, of both soldiers and civilians. This is the saga of two families, one American, the other Japanese, bound by friendship and marriage, and caught in the political and personal crossfire of a war they neither wanted nor made. The horrors, the losses, the victories, and the jubilations are dramatically presented in impeccably researched scenes of rare emotional impact.
