About the Author/作者介绍: When Shawn Phillips created the Body for Life workouts he was 34 and had unlimited time to spend at the gym. Now he is in his early 40s with a wife and toddler and can’t imagine how he could have thought anyone would have that much time to spend working out. He came to understand the Body for Life problem first hand: he didn’t have enough time to stay in the fantastic shape he was in! He also came to undertand that fitness is less about how you look than about how you feel. Honing in on the idea of building strength rather than just sculpting a body, Shawn developed "Focused Intensity Training" or "FIT." Based in science and borrowing from mind-based practices like yoga and martial arts, the FIT technique not only puts you in the zone -- it produces powerful results. You are stronger, leaner, and healthier and you have the time to enjoy the benefits.
