CJ Sansom’s latest Shardlake novel, REVELATION, has been shortlisted for the Books Direct Crime Thriller of the Year Award as part of the 2009 Galaxy British Book Awards, or ’Nibbies’, as they are popularly known.
This award celebrates the six best novels of the year in what is arguably the most competitive of the categories, as crime thrillers dominate UK sales from supermarkets to independent bookstores. The awards will be presented at the event’s 20th annual ceremony on Friday 3rd April at the Grosvenor House Hotel, and the ceremony will be broadcast on television on Sunday 5th April. /09-3-27
About the Author/作者介绍： C.J. Sansom was educated at Birmingham University, where he took a BA and then a PhD in history. After working in a variety of jobs, he decided to retrain as a solicitor and to practice in Sussex, where he still lives.
