About the Author/作者介绍： 安东尼·伯克莱（1893－1971）

Born in 1983, Anthony Berkeley was a journalist as well as a novelist. A founding member of the Detection Club, he was one of crime fiction’s greatest innovators, being one of the first to predict the development of the ’psychological’ crime novel. He wrote 24 novels, ten of which feature his amateur detective, Roger Sheringham. His best-known Roger sheringham mystery is The Poisoned Chocolates Case. Anthony Berkeley died in 1971.
