About the Author/作者介绍： Ann Rand wrote five children’s books, four of which were illustrated by her husband.

保羅‧藍德（Paul Rand）1929-1932年就學於紐約Parsons設計學院。年僅23歲 便成為Esquire Coronet廣告公司的藝術指導，在隨後的三十多年裏他一直擔任紐約廣告代理公司的創意指，也曾受聘為許多美國著名大公司的設計師或設計顧問，其中包括美國廣播公司、IBM公司、西屋電器公司、NEXT電腦公司、UPS快遞公司、耶魯大學等藝術顧問。他為這些公司和機構所設計的企業標誌 ，已成了家喻戶曉的經典之作。
